Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women. However, early detection of breast cancer increases the likelihood of cure to about 90%. Studies show that mammography screening reduces mortality from breast cancer, especially in women between the ages of 50 and 69.The examination is performed by experienced and professional technicians.
MHMC recently purchased a sophisticated machine to enable the early detection of breast pathology. Using state-of-the-art digital and computer technology, this machine yields better and faster image analysis and is safer for patients due to a lower radiation dose.
