Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Centre’s high-risk pregnancy unit, with 25 beds, has a skilled nursing and medical team experienced in treating a wide range of pregnancy complications.
These complications require hospitalisation, as they might endanger the lives of both mother and baby. If the likelihood of complications developing is higher than average – whether due to medical conditions existing in the mother prior to her pregnancy, or because of problems arising during the pregnancy itself – then it is considered High Risk Pregnancy.
